About

As a designer, a watercolorist and natural dye artist,
Sudha started Pans & Spaces to bring together her varied
experiences in visual art and spatial design.

Exhibition Designer

Sudha is a designer by education, with a degree in Exhibition Design from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, India.

She worked as a graduate intern at the Design department of the J. Paul Getty Museum, Los Angeles in 2019-2020, after completing her Masters in Global Creative and Cultural Industries from SOAS, University of London.

Sudha has also worked on museum and exhibition design projects in India, most notably for the Virasat-e-Khalsa heritage complex in Anandpur Sahib, while working at Design Habit Pvt Ltd, Delhi.

Watercolourist

Watercolors are Sudha’s preferred medium of visual communication.

When not required to make representations of spatial concepts and designs using computer software, Sudha indulges in expressing her ideas in this vibrant and versatile medium.

Natural Dye Artist

Sudha runs an art practice in exploring kitchen and garden sources to create dyes and pigments. Read about Sudha’s natural dye and pigment works here.
